Shipping Policy

Processing Time
Preparation time varies by piece, as each item is handmade. Please know I am doing my best and will be getting your order out as promptly and as safely as possible. Please contact me,Leah, at shadyladycompany@gmail.com directly if you have any questions about this.

Domestic Shipping (U.S.)
For added security, all U.S. orders are shipped with signature confirmation to reduce the risk of theft. If you prefer delivery without a signature requirement, please email Leah at shadyladycompany@gmail.com immediately after placing your order.
If a package is returned due to missed delivery attempts or failure to retrieve it, the customer is responsible for all reshipping costs.

International Shipping
International orders are welcome. Please note that customs duties, import taxes, or additional fees assessed upon arrival are the responsibility of the buyer. Shipping delays related to customs clearance are outside our control.

Additional Shipping Notes

  • Shipping insurance is included on all packages. If your order arrives damaged or goes missing in transit, please contact Leah at shadyladycompany@gmail.com so a claim can be initiated.

  • If you do not receive an order confirmation shortly after checkout, please check your spam or promotions folder.


Care, Use, Returns & Refunds

Care & Use Guidelines

  • For indoor use only

  • Use LED bulbs only, maximum 10W / 800 lumens

  • Keep away from water and heat sources

  • Do not soak or wash

  • Clean gently with a dry cloth, dry-cleaning sponge, or a hair dryer on a cool setting

  • Each lampshade is handmade; slight variations in trim, lace, or color are natural and part of the piece’s character


Returns & Refunds

All items are handcrafted with care and intention. Because of their handmade nature, subtle variations are expected and are not considered defects.

Returns
Returns are accepted only in rare cases where an item arrives with a functional defect or does not meet reasonable quality standards.

  • Requests must be made within 7 days of delivery by emailing Leah at shadyladycompany@gmail.com

  • Items must be unused and returned in original packaging

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer

  • We strongly recommend using tracked and insured return shipping, as receipt of returned items cannot be guaranteed

Refunds
Once a return is received and inspected, you will be notified of approval or denial.
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within several business days.

  • Refunds apply to full-price items only

  • Sale items are final and not eligible for refund

Items Not Eligible for Return

  • Custom or made-to-order pieces

  • Items showing signs of use or lacking original packaging

Order Cancellations
Cancellations must be requested within 24 hours of purchase. Requests made after this window may not be accommodated.
